How to convert .yft files to .dff (for blender)?

Hi there,
hope you´re having a nice day.
I am currently failing to convert .yft files to dff.
Actually I have no idea how to start.
I have downloaded two converter tools (one being dk22pac´s)
Also Kams Max script for good measure.
However, I am a total noob.
Do I drag n drop the files into the converter folder? (seen that in a conversion tutorial, did not get it)
Do I open an .exe and import from there? dk22pac´s tool does not have any exes I can open (Win10)
IN OpenIV, i can only extract (does nothing) or export (doesn´t give me any option to change file format with either of the scripts)
If there is an existing tutorial, I am sorry but I didn´t find it.
Can someone give me a quick step by step guide so I know roughly what to do?

Hi Wgotch07,
thank you for the suggestion.
I´m sure Zmod would work, and simplify the import to blender,
however I was trying to convert to .dff to avoid paying for Zmod.
