Can someone help me mod i just started today

I watched some tutorials and I installed mods and I did everything right but none of the mods are working and I'm confused please help I'm new to this

@DaCrazyRobot it must be very confusing when you did everything right but the mods don't cooperate. Selfish mods. Unless you made a mistake?
