Streampedprops.rpf keeps corrupting
-
I don't have any mods in it, and it still corrupts
-
Hey mate, I had the same problem, what i did was verified my game files and deleted the mods folder and created a new one.
If you didn't or don't have a mods folder i strongly suggest you make one. the mod folder is like a backup of you game without the oiv mods and other stuff your reverted to your mods folder.Hope this helps!

@SparkyXD I dont want to lose like 200GB of mods... I think it must be something in clothes, how would addon car corrupt clothing
-
@SparkyXD I fixed it, I reinstalled whole x64v.rpf but man how many good clothes I lost
-
That's what happens when an rpf goes above 4 GB, also replacing sucks, rather use dlc packs to replace content, this will also allow you to save a lot of space
-
https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/mpclothes-addon-clothing-slotsActually I can go over 4GB (but not without getting extremely anxious), do think the limit is 4,19GB
-
Another good reason to use @ReNNie's ped template, they fill up real fast. I must 4 have folders right now to share the burden. But only file approaching 4GB is mpbattle.
And this reminds me that I need to check some of those uber rpfs for fragmentation.

@HeySlickThatsMe Many of the old cars (I mean the mod release year) are just available as replaces.
There was a time when I had the patience to take each replace mod, one by one, and create an addon. But that time is long gone. Now I just dump them all in the latest patch file. I have about 30 vehicle replaces, about 400 vehicle addons. The size of the 30 replaces in my patchday25ng is now 253MB and not expected to increase given I'm done installing all the good replace mods. I only have 1 ped replace however.
-
@ReNNie But that is SUS because the main folder works, but props were corrupted and I just had 2 caps and one glasses added before
-
@JohnFromGWN i made VERY bad experiences defragmenting R* DLCs. had to delete my modfolder and download every defragmented archive after verify
-
@MaxLuk You forgot the 3 rules of modding:
- Backup
- Backup
- Backup
-
@JohnFromGWN had a whole backup of my modsfolder but somehow still got not explainable crashes. however since then i never defragment R*DLCs. only caraddons or patchdays.
-
@MaxLuk then that's just bad luck. I don't defrag any game dlc, only mods that look suspiciously larger than they should or dlc.rpf that i create myself from scratch. And when i do backups i will keep notes, like a changelog, because you don't want to overwrite a working backup with files that cause problems further down the road, although it requires more disk space.
