I am on steam for linux and i have trouble with installing mods because the most mods are made for windows and wine doesn't work.

A more complicated solution would be a GPU passthrough with a second GPU to run Windows in a VM to game that way if you really needed it. Otherwise, you could use a Windows VM for editing files in OIV and then copy/paste them into the needed folders on the Linux side.

@Anonymoused281 Dual boot is the simplest and most effective way. Years ago I had 3 OS (win 8 32, win 10 64 and Ubuntu) in triple boot and it was wonderful. Other benefit? Get a virus or issue on one OS? Boot to another OS and fix it easily.
