I broke the Visual 5 File on accident
-
I downloaded visual 5, and for some reason i tried to open it in notepad, when i tried using openIV it didn't work because it was notepad not the original zip file. so i tried just simply putting that in a zip file and that didn't work because it was just a notepad application in a zip file. so i tried to just redownload but that didn't work because now it automatically makes that file a notepad file and i don't know what to do.

@jckl2531 google how to change or reset file associations in windows. Simple but many ways of doing it.

@JohnFromGWN So i was able to make it not open with anything, i then had to use an online converter to convert it from a .7z file to a .zip. that seems to have somewhat worked, it is now able to recognize and open the file which it wasn't able to do before, however it is not able to find assembly.xml, even though when i opened the file, assembly .xml was there.

@JohnFromGWN Ok so i had to move the assembly file out of the "installations via modpackage" file and it was able to find it, it was able to load a few other files untill it failed saying it cant find the "content" folder, i wasnt able to find one either so now i have no idea what to do.
