[VEHICLE][WIP] Citroën 2CV (1949–1990)
"2CV" is an air-cooled front-engine, front-wheel-drive, economy family car manufactured by Citroën for model years 1948–1990.
I'm converting the model from "FH4" but I'm also planning some tuning options and liveries ... we'll see how it all turns out
@NajPotez Nice car i like it,when you built this car, will you make volkswagen beetle vehicles, https://gamemodels.ru/files/file/1054-1966-volkswagen-beetle-sedan-typ-1/

Yes, I have been thinking about Beetle... it is likely I will make it.
Looks nice so far, only thing that's visible is the reflection on the lower part of the grille in the last picture. I would suggest converting that part to quads and calculating the normals once again, Blender can be useful if you know how to use that, because zmod's quad tool is very basic.
Great, an another french star 😁🇨🇵 have you planned charleston version ? It's one of more famous 2cv in France ! Anyway, good luck for this work !
@GreenAid Thanks for pointing me to that. I will do my best to fix whatever I can.
@mattx2109 Yes, I think I'll go for "Charleston" as an livery option.
@NajPotez a other french classic
One of the first tuning parts I thought about was the square headlights like the late models had. That's why some things had to be taken into account when making collision parts...
The headlight glass had to be a separate part (miscs) in order to be replaced. As such they also had to have their own collision to be breakable.
Tuning square headlights consist of three parts (+two linked mods). In addition to the metal part, there are two separate pieces of glass (lights) that attach to the left and right headlights. In that way, they also become breakable.
"headlight_l" & "headlight_r" are bulbs only, and remain in the place when tuning, and always break together with the headlight glass.
Working on liveries:
I opted for a convertible car, so a closed roof (extra_2) or an open roof (extra_1) will spawn random. In case of rain all cars spawn with the closed roof (extra_2) only. For this, you need flag in "vehicles.meta": FLAG_EXTRAS_CONVERTIBLE
Instead of tuning liveries, the car will be spawn with different liveries. This was to match the colors (most liveries are transparent) in the "carvariations.meta".
Unfortunately, this is ignored by trainers, and the colors do not match when the car spawns by trainer. But it's nice to see colorful "2cv" in traffic
Will we need to add the flag after release or will vehicle.meta come with the flag added already? Not a problem either way, I may just forget to add it myself, heh.
@Frostelis The flag will be there. I will include all the necessary flags in the vehicles.meta
I spent the last week trying to make an animation for the roof (and windows). I am pleased with the result. It works well ... and it works with LODs too.
This changes the concept of the car so it will take some time to adjust everything and fix the bugs. I will also have to give up some tuning ideas related to the roof.
