GTA V saying online and not letting me use mods because of it.

whats goin on ppl.i need help is there anyone out here.im trying to mod gta5 but im not use to doing stuff like this ls lifestyle is the 1 im struggling on game is saying that im online when I'm really not online, and because of that it isn't letting me use mods, any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
