Looking for the files/scripts that define the NPC-modded cars, Exotic Exports, car meet cars, etc.



  • I’m looking for the info in the game that defines the NPC-modded cars, such as the blue and yellow Sentinel XSs, bright red and dark red Turismo Rs, and various other cars that appear in both SP and MP in certain locations at certain times of day. I’m also looking for the info that defines the Exotic Exports cars, the cars in the LS Car Meet, and any other scripted cars that appear in missions or other special situations.

    I know that normal traffic spawns are defined in carvariations.meta files that appear in each DLC folder. But I cannot find any files that define these other cars.

    If someone can point me to where all that is located, I’d appreciate it. I have OpenIV.



  • For the npc-modded cars, I believe it's in the "vehiclemodelsets.meta" file
    Path for it is: "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai"
    But for the MP modded cars, no clue. Maybe somewhere in the "MPTuner" dlcpack.

    For the Exotic Exports and Car Meet cars, I’ve looked in mptuner, all folders with that name and the sub folders in them, as far as I can seem to find, and have looked in the files that seem possible by both name and size and cannot find them.



  • Is anyone able to help with the Exotic Exports, LS Car Meet cars, and other scripted and mission cars?
