Problem with Liberty City V Remix

I finally decided to download LCVR and I'm having a problem. After installing the mod, My game crashes while loading into Story Mode and I get the "err_gen_zlib_2" error. I've tried looking online for any fixes and so far, everything i've tried hasn't fixed it. I followed the install instructions step-by-step, I have all the required mods, I've tried multiple gameconfigs (including the one that came with the mod itself), and i've tried verifying my game files. Could this just be a performance issue or is there something else I'm missing?

@CybershadeSR did you install manually or with an OIV. If the latter (the OIV) it will have overwritten many of your files.

The instructions said to install the OIV so yeah.

Is there a way to manually install it?

@CybershadeSR you unzip it and look at the file called assembly.xml, you'll see what goes where and also which files were replaced without your knowledge or permission.
