Need Extra Information on Reverting

So I was reading "https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/35523/what-you-need-to-do-for-the-next-gta-update" and the issue is because of the update I had to reinstall my GTA 5 so I lost everything. Any thoughts on what I can do to revert back before the update?

@EditName What does you lost everything mean? After you updated, all your addons, your asi files, your scripts, in fact all your mods are exactly where they were. You don't lose everything.
What you lost was really 1 file, GTA5.exe.
Now if you allowed OpenIV to update your update.rpf, then you also lost your dlclist.xml which you can redo and your gameconfig.xml which you can reinstall. Im assuming you didn't manually edit any files in update.rpf although OIVs could have changed some as well.

I lost everything, so after the update for some reason my firewall went crazy on some of the files so I had to reinstall GTA all over again. So yea, lost everything.

@EditName The firewall caught on fire, right? I hate when that happens, the smoke, the ashes....
