View multiple .YDD models at the same time

When I download some modpacks, I'd like to see what I got exactly before putting them in my game. The only method to look at them I know now is to use OpenIV and double click the .YDD files to preview the contents. This works fine but is kind of slow, you have to double click and close to see each preview and you don't know what it is until you open it.
So my question is: is there a method/tool that allows to browse through .YDD models more efficiently?

@helios7 The only way I've been able to do it is to open multiple OpenIV's or remove the .ydd, .ytd etc. file to desktop, designate OpenIV as the program to read the file and then just click on the file and it will open a new a window of OpenIV so you can see what it contains. The program Texture Toolkit will also read them in this fashion. --- It's the only way I've found to preview before I install something.
