3dsmax and evo - face texture white, help



  • I want to create my face on a gta v character:

    1. I create a face with kentools for blender and export it in .obj
      2.I choose a character from gta v in open iv (ig_clay) and export the .ytd , then the .ydd with openformats (which converts it to .odd)
      3.I open texture editor of open iv and extract all textures in .png format
      4.I open 3dsmax (with evo installed) and import the .odd
      5.I import the head .obj and delete the head from clay
      6.THE PROBLEMS BEGIN:
      -do I need to edit the body and head with edit poly and then do an attach?
      -the character is exported to me but in open iv the head looks white, the textures are missing, how to make it read them? I have the .png of textures made in blender
      -when I export it tells me:
      [0 errors]
      [7 warnings]
      1 times: Model "clay/lowr_000_u" has got more than one root bone.
      All of them will be grouped into a new one with default parameters and unique ID.
      If you want to tweak these parameters, consider creating the root bone by yourself, and attaching your model bones to it.

    I dont understand, I can't find anything on youtube
