Where are these files?

Hello, I wanted to ask, where in the gamefiles the quad lens night vision googles are stored. I looked every dlcpack trough and couldnt find nothing.
-
Where is @a63nt-5m1th when you need him?
Do you know when they were released, which patch? I have no idea who they are for. Which player or is it freemode?
-
@JohnFromGWN i want the quad lens for mp freemode male
-
@JohnFromGWN I also tried to find when they released them, but i couldnt find anything.
-
@LSPDhighway Are you sure they are available in SP?
I found this:
"Grand Theft Auto V. Thermal vision is unobtainable during normal gameplay. It does however appear as a thermal scope attachment on Franklin's Sniper Rifle in The Merryweather Heist (freighter approach), on Michael's Heavy Sniper in the mission Predator, and on either sniper rifle that Trevor uses in the mission Derailed. "

@JohnFromGWN I mean these night vision googles with 4 of these visions, They are named quad lens. They must been stored somewhere.

@LSPDhighway the closest thing ive found is in mpsmuggler_male_p.rpf but its only the goggle lens for some reason probably not helpful but thought id let you know
-
@Sympathy I probably found it, but i just see some dots when i click on the head ydd and ytds.

Been away modding Fallout 4 the past while, really enjoying it & got it looking real nice.@LSPDhighway
In OpenIV's Model Viewer, if you switch 'Edged Faces:' to True (yellow, top right) you'll be able to see the shape/wireframe (CodeWalker shows the basic model shape too, if opened from RPF Explorer file/folder viewer etc). The texture has an alpha (transparency) channel that makes parts of the texture invisible. If you export the texture & open it with Photoshop etc (ie any art software capable of reading alpha channels), you'll be able to see it. Alternatively, if you export it from the '.ytd' as a '.jpg' (which can't have an alpha channel/transparency) you'll be able to see what it looks like too.As for editing the texture, I think it's just like normal, you edit it & it displays in-game. Not sure why it has an alpha channel/is invisible (I'm not too knowledgeable on ped related stuff tbh, maybe related to tints or decals or something?!). I've successfully edited helmets like that in the past tho, just can't remember the process
. That's likely due to it being easy, had it been difficult to do, I would have made a note of it etc. If you have any issues tho, give us a shout/let me know what file you are editing & I'll take a deeper look at it

@a63nt-5m1th welcome back, we all missed you. That's an incredible image, talk about photorealistic.

@a63nt-5m1th Thank you very much!

^^This - We miss you man!
I hope you haven't given up GTA-V's modding scene entirely! Such a valuable mind!
