@streetkilln Are you running any mods? And is it GTAO only or SP too?
-
@JohnFromGWN i thought it would be caused by previously using mods, but i did a clean install and only happens gta online
-
@streetkilln Reinstalling isn't worth it, just doing a verify integrity is fine.
When did you start having problems? Before or after the last GTA update?
Did you change your hardware or any component. Did you update drivers? Updated to Win 11 recently?
You must have changed something, yes?
The error code unfortunately can be lots of things, possibly a memory issue.
Without more info, all i can suggest is reset all your visual settings to the defaults - and yes, your specs are more than enough to run this game.
-
@JohnFromGWN maybe like 3 or 4 weeks ago, i actually upgraded my pc like 2 months ago, i upgraded the motherboard cpu and memory thats listed above, but it wasn't happening then at that time. my ram is DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB 32GB DDR5 5600MHz i also do have windows 11 but had it for a while now.

@streetkilln Seems like something R* support should help you with.
-
@streetkilln Your ram by default is likely at 2133. Did you overclock it? If so, that might be the issue.
The fact that you upgraded your hardware points to the reason for the crash. Works, upgrade, no longer works. Agree?
Question now is how to fix it, because even though you have a more powerful system, you introduced a change which the game is having issues with.
Once more set your visual settings to default. If that doesn't help, try updating your video drivers, change Direct X either to 10 from 11 or 11 from 10 etc.

Nah i havent oc anything, and honestly not sure if its cause by upgrades because i never played gta v online since years ago i just started again this year.
-
@streetkilln Is your game stable playing SP, without mods or SP with mods?
-
@JohnFromGWN yea sp is fine , i thought maybe it started doing this in mp since i had mods but like i said i did a clean install
-
@streetkilln Mods can't be loaded online by OpenIV and scripts can't be loaded by SH5. So mods can't impact GTAO except those specifically designed for cheating online - that's not your case, so no idea why you're crashing online.
-
@JohnFromGWN okay so i play gta v rp servers, so im not entirely sure its related to gta online it self , i mean i could try and see
-
@streetkilln Yeah, that's different. Thought you meant GTAO.
