How to shut off lighting adaptation?

  • so im having weird adaptation issues. im using Natural Vision Remastered, Visual V, ENB, and Radiance V. When i shoot around my vehicle, my game flickers and and dims like crazy and i wish there was a way to shut it off completely. heres a link to a video explaining my issue:

  • @blutato Game wasn't designed to have visual mods in the first place, and certainly not for 4 or more competing for resources along with your in game graphics settings. SMH.

Figure out which one or combinations are causing issue by temporarily renaming or disabling them and then search for a solution if you absolutely believe fake colors, fake contrast, and other illusionary visual improvements are superior to the already awesome vanilla graphics.

  • I understand what your getting at, but your not really helping when your stating on what I should do, but then turning around and saying your opinion. That's what I didn't come here for, I came for help, and if your not going to do that, I don't want to hear it.

  • I believe there's a mod for the eye adaption, it's in the Misc section.
Eye adaption is when the game goes dim when looking at light sources like the Sun or various streetlights.

I suggested a proven method to identify which mod or mods are causing your issue. Once you've identified the root cause, then you look for a specific fix for the culprit.

The more mods you install the higher the probability of at some point encountering issues.

I don't use shotgun one size fits all attempts but if that's what's your looking for hopefully you'll find it.

As for my opinion, it's exactly that, just an opinion, and if you're afraid to hear one, a public forum isn't the best place to post. Sometimes in life you have to compromise, do you want a game without issues or a ton of mods. If you're lucky you can have both.

If you're unlucky, prepare yourself for problems.

    Good luck.
