Editing Rate of Fire of Weapons

I'd like to increase the rate of fire for certain weapons (mainly shotguns). How do we do this?

There was a weapon mod that I installed a while ago that had it perfectly where the shotguns were insane! I don't remember the name of the mod so after installing a new mod the rate of fire feels so slow and sluggish.

How do we edit the rate of fire for each weapon - which file, what location, how to edit etc.?
