ADDON plane does not have guns

Can anyone help me I'm trying to add a addon plane but the guns on it do not work it doesn't even say I have to option for guns Can anyone help me???

@Hazza234 There are many plane mods on this site. Is it the one with two wings and a pilot seat? If so, go into OpenIV and enable the value in the file. It works for me.

@Hazza234 You missed my point. Unless you specify, with a link, which planes are causing you issues (and you checked the comment page for those mods for issues and fixes) nobody will be able to help you unless there is a one size fits all generic solution.
