Is there an alternative to the Add On Peds Mod?

I tried it last year and it crashed the game on multiple tries. I read the comments section recently and see that there's a lot of people still having issues with this mod. So, Is there an alternative to installing peds?

Yes, it's even much better than the Addon Peds mod ever was.
It's from @ReNNie and you can download it here:

You install it as you would any dlc (will replace existing addon peds). The install process is a simple 2 step one after that.
- For normal peds, you drag the 4 files (normally only 4). For streamed peds, you drag the 2 folders and 2 files.
- You enter the name of the ped (based on the file name) in the peds.meta. There are already placeholders in the files for normal male, female, streamed male, streamed female, and even hooker heels.
N.B. You can rename any ped files or folders whatever you want.
There is a tutorial if you want as well, with optional other requirements - again they are optional.
