Just curious, given how urgent this is, what will happen if you don't get an answer immediately?
As for will it damage your laptop, unlikely unless it causes your battery to explode. This hasn't been reported but is theoretically possible.
As NVE renders its extraordinarily photoshopped graphics it unfortunately places undue stress on the cheap lithium battery currently found in all, even high end, laptops. Resulting battery explosion could once more theoretically take out a small village.
Not to worry however, because modern processors from Intel and AMD will burnout well before the battery overheats. Just ensure your FPS stays between 10-20, never exceeding 25 FPS.
A forum is always the best place to get advice like this as to whether your laptop will get bricked or not.

Yes you can play on it. New gen rtx 3050 support better GTA 5 , also GDDR6 4Gb of dedicated memory are not so bad but ≥ 6Gb are recommended if you will have to run too more mods (mixing graphics mods, adding customs car,...) So ≥12 Gb of RAM will be good, if you wan to play it on ultra settings! You will have (max 35 fps)
Make sure that your PC/desktop fan will regulate better hot temperature from the GPU. This can cause damage if it doesn't work good
Check too if you're using a recommended power supply !! Adapting power supply can quickly damage your lithium battery ! When GPU is used up to 80% it requiring a good power energy
