Edited sound files in PAIN.rpf for Michael but they won't play?
I was editing the audio files for Michael's pain sounds in PAIN.rpf but they won't play in-game. Anyone have any tips?
@puppymaster27 Did you make sure that the new audio clip you want to use is the same length as the original?
@AmazyCrazy Thanks, I won't be able to try it until later since I'm not at my computer. Do you know if this will work or are you just guessing?

He is partially right, some audio need to be same length, others don't, but key factor is audio formats.
This might help, not familiar with pain.rpf
@JohnFromGWN So I made sure I exported it in the right format, and I made sure the new audio was the same length as the original. Still silent in-game. I feel like I'm missing something. I'm using Audacity if that helps.
Ahh, I see the problem. I've been kinda lazy and just copy and pasting audio files, not realizing that even though they share the same names (the audio files) in different folders, they have different lengths. Ignore me, I'm dumb.
So now I did change the length of all the sound files and... still no sounds in-game. That's disappointing. I'm not sure what else to do. I've made sure they're in the right format as well. If someone maybe wants to try and download my sound files and see what's wrong, please feel free to.
Hi i noticed that when i change Franklin pain sound, Michael pain sound seems also afected, and when i check ymt file i see that both franklin and michael use same PedVoiceGroup named "MALE_BRAVE_PVG", Trevor use another PedVoiceGroup named "TREVOR_PVG", i dont know if this will help you.
It may be because .awc file size too large.
Try reducing the sampling frequency of the .wav files and importing its.
Be make one .awc file size is around 900kb.
