3. cant download vehicle

cant download vehicle


  • when i download the vehicle (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1955-mercedes-benz-300sl-tuning ) and i put the dlcpacks in the mods folder and dlclist in the update folder

    if you look carefully at your last 2 entries you'll notice they are different from all the rest. The backslash at the beginning isn't the issue, its that you're missing the slash after the folder name.

    You need to pay careful attention when you're creating your modding environment.

    Once you have experience, you can put your dlcpacks wherever you want, but this is the default:

    \Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks in your Mods, Update, x64, dlcpacks

    You can install DLC.rpfs with Windows Explorer or OpenIV.

    Your dlclist.xml has to go in a specific location:

    \Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data In Mods, Update, Update.rpf

    You can only edit from OpenIV, or heaven forbid with an OIV.

  • when i put the <Item>dlcpacks:\300sl</Item> in the mods dlclist it crashes my game when on loading story mode

    @natosidus Dawg did you read and do as JohnFromGWN said?

    I just tested the mod works perfect.

    Usually I copy the last line of my dlclist and rename it to the new mod name to avoid syntax errors but this time I copied the line from the readme text just to check it was correct.

    "Your mother should have swallowed you!"
