Zmodeler3 Pop up headlights HELP!



  • I'm currently working on a 1969 Chevy Corvette and i've been trying to find documentation and tutorials all over for setting up pop-up headlights by using ZMODELER3 but i cant find anything! What i already know is that in the .yft the car needs the headlights to be labeled "Light_Cover" and also i know that in the handling.meta it needs these lines
    <Item type="CCarHandlingData">
    <fBackEndPopUpCarImpulseMult value="0.100000" />
    <fBackEndPopUpBuildingImpulseMult value="0.030000" />
    <fBackEndPopUpMaxDeltaSpeed value="0.600000" />
    So besides the above information, what i am not sure how to do is going about adjusting the headlights better within zmodeler and where the headlights final popped location is and the tilt and rotation numbers on them so that they animate and sit properly on the car after their animation is complete. For example, on the 1969 corvette the headlights need to rotate slightly instead of just popping straight up and down otherwise they dont sit correctly in the car. If anyone knows where more documentation is on something like this or knows how to do this please let me know - Sierra



  • @SierraT to adjust the rotation use <fPopUpLightRotation value="27" /> this line will be outside of subhandlingdata, just one line above <SubHandlingData>
