graphics mod crashing game

When ever i download a graphics mod to my game it crashes on the loading screen i have a pretty high end pc so i wouldn't think it would a spec problem i can easly run gta 5 with 3k addon/replacement cars + other mods but the second i add a graphics mod it crashes (even with out an mods)
