Help needed with character voices

Hello all, I'm new to the forums and hope I'm posting in the right place
As the subject says, I need help with character voices.
My situation is that I have a custom map which is basically a straight road with ramps etc that I use for vehicle testing.
The map was created with Menyoo mod; and recently I wanted to put police on the map to shoot at me so I can test cars Armor.
Everything works map wise, however whenever I put 2 plus peds on the map, my character's voice cuts out completely.
It doesn't matter whom I'm playing, but lets just say Franklin for an example.
When there's only one ped on the map, I can hear all the dialogue from when he hits out or gets shot etc, however whenever I put more peds in, I can't hear any dialogue what so ever from Franklin.
Strangely all the ped's voices work fine though.
That being said, I really hope someone can help as this is a very annoying problem for me.
For reference, I use simple trainer to spawn peds and vehicles etc; and I've tried different versions of it with no success, it still happens.
