Longshot...Can anyone with coding knowledge fix the 'musical chairs' bug?

This is probably a reach, but there has been a ridiculous bug in the game since I started playing modded back in 2017. When underfire, bodyguards will go all 'musical chairs' getting in and out of an aircraft (particularly helicopters) whenever the vehicle gets hit by bullets. This doesn't happen in cars or even tanks. It's annoying and the player along with the entire team can get wiped out while these peds go all goofy underfire. While you're at it, if you can figure out how to stop 'turrets' from resetting to the original position after being hit with bullets, that would be nice too! Since this is a 'coding thing', I don't expect 'non-coders' to have any solutions.
