Looking for a way to replace vanilla vehicles with add-on vehicles.

After rewriting the data in vehicles.meta and handling.meta of the vanilla car to the metadata of the add-on car, the meter stopped working, does anyone know why?

Don't know, but are you sure the meta data for the vanilla car only exists in one location? Or might it exist in multiple locations requiring multiple edits? Do you have this problem with one particular addon or all addons as they definitely aren't created equal.

@BIG-YOSHIKI I meant duplicate files, same name, different dlc or patch.

@BIG-YOSHIKI You also need to edit the part at <txdRelationships>. Also probably carvariations.ymt as well if it's included in the mod.
