Does anyone Know how to, Give custom name to a Weapon?

i am wondering how do , i give a new custom name to a weapon or how to change and existing weapon display name?
for example in the below picture the weapon name is shown as SMG how do i change it? Thank you in advance

find global.gxt2
right click
export to openformats
open with notepad
search for SMG
edit it (It might say SMG multiple times so change all of them)
save
openiv
right click in any blank spot (make sure you don't select any file)
import open formats
select the file
done

. but. is there a way to add a new weapon name? too? witout replacing the SMG.

@HeySlickThatsMe you see., i have 3 weapons on my vehicle. but when i switch between them. all of them say. machine gun. and i wanted to give them a different display name.

@HeySlickThatsMe i have 3 vehicle weapons . all custom settings. and custom names. a smoke screen , a machine gun. and a grenade launcher. but they all show as if they are machine guns. they cycle all right. fire all right. but the display name says, machine gun. all 3 of them.

because for me every weapon has its own name
