Is there a way to save something as unchecked in openiv model viewer???

there is a audi r8 spyder car mod i want to add to my game but i want it to have the stock number plate and this one has a custom number plate as an extra on the rear bumper and when i uncheck it, it dissapears and the stock one appears but i can't find way of saving the settings, is this possible???
