STILL Stuck on Loading Story Mode Screen after Script Hook V update Today

So, with the update before this one i hadn't played for a while then decided to play. i updated to the then latest version of Script Hook V but the game wouldn't load. I deleted the script hook v files and replaced them with the correct system32 files and the game loaded fine but without any of my mods working obviously. People were saying it's because script hook v needed to be updated so I downloaded the latest version today and installed it and once again it is getting stuck on the "Loading Story Mode" screen. i am on the steam version, and I also tried uninstalling GTAV and reinstalling it and it didn't fix anything. WTF is going on, and for the love of god can someone actually try to help me out?

You deleted the scripthook dinput8.dll and replaced it with the correct ones from system32 right?
You should let everyone know about this. This whole BS about needing SH5 to mod GTA5 when you already have all the files in system32 folder.
I remember years ago I followed that advice. My game was broken after an update so I watched a youtube video with that exact fix.
Miraculously my game worked!
Only problem was that I was never able to play mods again. Still don't why. If you find the answer, please post it.

i've had an issue with RPH all of a sudden. it turned out that microsoft has updated it's defender which didn't let me start the game.
disabling AV (defender) till the game is loaded was the solution for me. maybe it helps you until microsoft has repaired it's failure.
