Hi 👋 please go to your Windows System 32 Folder And copy dinput8.dll from this folder Into your GTA 5 Folder this should fix your issue please do not Move Dinput8.dll just copy it and paste it to your GTA V Folder And replace the existing one that is in there

@RsKyLoL don't follow the advice below, all it does is eliminate any possibility of playing with mods, giving you the false impression that your game is magically fixed.
-
@KG99 you don't replace dinput8.dll because it's what allows you to play mods, period, end of discussion.
-
-
@KG99 tried that didn't work
-
@RsKyLoL Well, I'm shocked it didn't work. Oh, wait, I posted why it wouldn't work.
Sorry to tell you this but there isn't any quick fixes except for pure fluke luck.
You can wait for someone to fix this for you, or you can fix it yourself - unfortunately that means work.
Note: dinput8.dll doesn't crash games, it enables you to play mods. Mods crash games, particularly after an update.

@JohnFromGWN i found the problem it was my mods folder now i just need to know what's causing it.
-
@RsKyLoL Good first step.
Now ask yourself:
Did this happen before or after the last update?
Did you add mods just before this happened?
Did you make any edits to any text files or textures in the mod folder - particularly in update.rpf.If this happened right after the update, you might need a new gameconfig.xml mod or you may need to remove new dlc entries from your dlclist.xml.
Updates are notorious for breaking modded games.
