Windows Explorer Screwed Me Over
-
So a while ago I tried to download a mod that replaces the navy revolver to be a Colt 1851 Navy,
While trying to find the "mpheist3" folder and found out I hadn't copied it to my mods folder,
So I clicked "Copy to 'mods' Folder" but all that happened was it copied just the folder itself and nothing that was in it,
So I tried using windows explorer to copy the dlc.rpf file into the folder but it said I couldn't because there was no more storage space on my PC,
So I freed up some space and tried again but not with openIV just windows explorer,
It started to copy the files but it was taking so long that I got bored and canceled the prosses and I was gonna save it for another time and deleted to incomplete copied file,
But when went to find the original dlc.rpf file to make sure every thing was ok the original folder was empty,
Apparently windows explorer bugged out or something and instead of copying the file it 'cut' it,
So now I need a replacement file for the original dlc.rpf file

You can use whatever verify integrity method is appropriate for your version of the game using one of these links as a guide:- Steam: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
- EpicGames: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/technical-support-c90/general-support-c91/how-do-i-verify-game-files-in-the-epic-games-launcher-a3638

That should download fresh vanilla files for any game folder/vanilla files you are missing.

@Beese-Churger
Windows needs disk space to operate as it constantly writes whether temp files or other crap. Other applications do the same, whether you're aware of it or not. Another issue with low disk space is thrashing because the drive is going nuts trying to find free sectors to write to. It's easy to blame Windows or whatever but your issue is with your hardware. Don't expect your PC to run properly on empty.

It worked Thanks
