i get the scripthook v error when trying to launch. New to this and everything was going so well, then this!

@Woz4l SH5 needs to be updated after every patch/every update even if it is minor because SH5 does a version check.

R* caught me by surprise with this update, now I gotta wait now, dammit.

@-EcLiPsE- why is it a surprise? They update regularly as do many game companies. Every time I start Steam I have games queued for updates, some as old as GTAIV.
Instead of being caught by surprise revert temporarily or permanently.
When I learned about today's update I was unaffected because reverting took under 10 seconds. So I don't need to wait for Alexander to continue playing. Actually I no longer even need his updates.

I expect an update like monthly, not weekly.
From now on though, I'm keeping a backup no matter what.Not like GTA is the only game I play, I got a whole heap of games to play.

I understand but do you know many games that break your mods with every update?
With a backup it doesn't matter if R* updates hourly. You don't even need to search for news regarding an update.
You see the Update required, you update, you revert. That simple. No more stress, no more issues.
