@ggtyll0p
The corrupt data message can be very misleading. All we know from this message is that the game doesn't like something you installed or edited or deleted. This path
Mods\update\update.rpf\common\data
has many files that can be edited and possibly cause your problem. Did you edit any of these files? The 2 most commonly edited files here are dlclist.xml and gameconfig.xml.
You shouldn't play with the gameconfig unless you have experience. I'm assuming you have an updated gameconfig mod as well as pack, heap, etc.The dlclist.xml is obviously edited frequently but the error might be a mod it is attempting to load rather than a syntax error. You can post your dlclist.xml here or on pastebin.

@JohnFromGWN i only edited my gameconfig with the mod that is well known
(https://pastebin.com/rAQ3X2vX) <-- is the dlclist the modded one
i should also say that i did also instal mods via package installer too dont know if that can do much.

@ggtyll0p said in Gta 5 corrupt data only with when mods are enabled.:
mods via package installer
Those can definitely cause issues.
Unfortunately you will need to disable mods, one by one, or in small groups, or top half / bottom half, until you find the issue. You can disable mods in several ways temporarily.
- Move them out of dlcpacks
- Rename the folder containing a dlc.rpf
- Remove the lines from dlclist.xml after backing it up
- Comment out the entry in dlclist.xml using comment tags. For example comment out the top 50% of entries and test. Then try the bottom 50% and test until you find the culprit or culprits.
Don't install using OIV installers unless you inspect the contents first as they can really screw up your game and are a PITA to uninstall.
If your problem occurred after one of the latest updates it could be because of conflicting game dlc or because you don't have update2.rpf in your mods folder.

@JohnFromGWN i will try that and if i cant make it work i wil just delete the complete gta 5 folder from my steamapps and then reinstall to start with a clean install and take my time checking if a mod works.
Thx for the help.

Reinstalling GTA5 is only worthwhile if your game was broken before you modded it.
That's why you disable your mods and check if game is OK.Same applies to modded game.
Stepwise approach. Scripts and asi mods are easy to identify.
Damage from an OIV is more difficult.
