Add new traffic paths south of the map

  • Here’s my problem, I create traffic south of the map, I have all the nodes for traffic but the traffic doesn’t show up there. The nodes are correct because after testing on a different zone identifier, the traffic appears. I think the problem comes from the location of the card itself but I don’t understand where the problem comes from. ( for example nodes.236 work correctly on nodes299 but don’t work on nodes.236)
    Do you have any idea where the problem might be?

    Voici mon problème, je crée du trafic au sud de la carte, j'ai tous les nœuds pour le trafic mais le trafic n'apparaît pas à cet endroit. Les nœuds sont corrects car après avoir testé sur un identifiant de zone différent, le trafic apparaît. Je pense que le problème vient de l'emplacement de la carte elle-même mais je ne comprends d'où vient le problème. ( par exemple les nœuds de nodes.236 fonctionnent correctement sur nodes299 mais ne fonctionnenent pas sur nodes.236)
    Avez-vous une idée d'où pourrait venir le problème ?

    What I can tell you from experience is that the AI and other elements of the game don't always behave consistently outside the physical limits of the maps.

    For example, I have experienced on certain maps, that car engines won't start on certain coordinates of these maps, but will if you spawn the car just a few coordinates away. NPC behaviour is definitely screwed up as well.

    I think in your OP you had mentioned the French Riviera. That's an interesting one because there are more than 1 versions and at least one supports traffic. However I've tried them all and was never able to have traffic spawn. Liberty City is another example where traffic spawns perfectly in most areas, but not all.

    You could try to relocate your map and ofc you should have the no boundaries mod installed.

    Modding is mysterious. Recently I spawned a few new vehicles and one went through the map, in Los Santos. After that, all ground collisions were gone. I had never fallen through the map before, only in a few poorly designed MLOs, and certainly never in Los Santos. I exited the game, restarted, problem gone. Didn't try to figure out what caused it because it can't be reproduced systematically, it happened randomly.

    I think I know how to create traffic but I really don’t understand. I tried to see if the traffic appears even if the card is not installed but it does not appear. I really think it’s at this part of the map that it’s a problem. I tried to create new zones in pathzones.xml, popzone.ipl, zonebinf.ymt but it still doesn’t work. The only solution is to move the entire map.

    I tried ymap_ybn mover but I never managed to move the card. I’m bad:D
    Do you know how?
    And I don’t know the mod hulk, what is it?

    I tried again to move the map with ymap-ybn-mover but it makes me crash the game as soon as I launch
