Giving certain props collision.

  • Is there anyway to give props that don't have collision, collision, it is probably a dumb question, but I was wondering.

  • @123456789gtamod

When you post it's a good idea to be specific given there are 100,000 props in the game.
If your prop doesn't have collisions use your imagination.
I have no idea what you're trying to do given you didn't give any useful details but you could attach your prop to one that does have collisions and then make the collision one invisible...as an example.

  • Right, I want to find a way to give "h4_mph4_wtowers_wtower.ydr collision however I don't know if it is possible because it is one of those props that have a ybn file and the collision is in a specific place, so on cayo perico basically. I was wondering if there was any way to basically make it like any normal prop with built in collision, so I wouldn't have to somewhat make a ybn file for it which I am not 100% sure, but would be the only other solution(I am bad at explaining things)

Ok. Why do you want to give it a collision? Do you want to stand on it?
As I wrote before, you can spawn another prop and use it to stand on or to create a barrier etc.
You make the other prop invisible so that it simulates a collision.
If that doesn't work unfortunately your stuck with creating the collision ybn yourself.
For example, you can make an invisible floor in Menyoo for buildings that don't have one to keep from falling through map. This is the easy method. 3 modeling or CW would be the best method.

  • I'm wanting to just add these towers around another map mod for guards and such, now the invisible floor could work, but the reason I want the specific collision is also because of all the stairs on the towers, and also so when peds are in a fighting behavior they don't run off the top of the towers.
