infinite parachutes wont disable

im using menyoo and i turned infinite parachutes on once. when i turned it off, it didnt stop giving me parachutes. I have checked multiple times and it just wont stop. ive deployed probably hundreds of parachutes without the infinite parachutes on. does anyone know how to fix this?

id like to add that even removing them in the weapons menu doesnt work. the "remove parachutes" button does literally nothing.
