ScripthookV Error 'TrainerV.asi' crash ID: 53

I got my game (sort of) working after updating to the latest version and using the latest gameconfig.xml file but on loading story mode now, I get a ScripthookV error that states the 'TrainerV.asi' crashed with ID: 53.
I'm on game version 2845 and the latest Simple Trainer (from 12/28/2022).
What is the reason for the crash and how do we fix it? I've never had this issue before (being forced to update to the latest version of the game thanks to the dumb Rockstar Games Launcher update).
