[VEHICLE] HMMWV with TOW missile launcher



  • there's already a humvee without armament and one with machine gun on the top but this one would be really cool!

  • @B-Milan i have made HQ Dongfeng EQ2050 of chinese Army which is Pretty similar, but looks a bit different. @SkylineGTRFreak can modify his hummer into this above TOW humvee version i am sure. i'll upload EQ2050 in near future. here is how it looks like in real life.

  • @B-Milan and there is also this version i am planning. of chinese army EQ2050 but Americans have done something similar to their humvee as well. for heavy snow regions.

  • @FoxtrotDelta wow these are amazing, can't wait for it :D btw back to the TOW, in the game Black Mesa (it's the remastered version of Hald-Life 1 to Source engine) there are humvees with TOW, so he could use those TOW models (not the whole car model, just the TOW)

  • @B-Milan i think @SkylineGTRFreak has a better model. and he can make it much better , just give him time. he has said in one of his latest videos. that he is planning on updateing the humvee. and since COD Remastered has a decent model too. i think he shall combine multiple features and make a decent new updated version. once he has time. i like your idea. i thought of it last week and made the chinese Version. EQ2050

  • Yea, I wanted to mash several Humvee models together. @nathanjamesddg151 bought a really nice and detailed standard Humvee (clean, without any extras, but sadly its topology and polycount make it kind of unsuited for GTA. The current mod uses the Battlefield 3 model as base, where I think that the exterior textures look a little bit... well shit. The new CoD remastered model is fairly nice, but lacks a detailed interior. So what I wanted to do is, take the CoD one as base, insert interior combined from the bought model and BF3, The nice 3d wheels from the bought version, add armament and equipment from the current BF3 mod(el) and yea... Was planning on doing the remote controlled M2 Browning and TOW anyway :D

    Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut this takes time. A lot :/

    @SkylineGTRFreak Use the interior (and possibly textures) from my HMMWV. It'll give you high quality without breaking the poly count.

    @FoxtrotDelta what did you manage to get the poly count down to on the high poly HMMWV? Also, would it be possible to retain the UV maps of the high poly HMMWV and use a lower poly exterior, like @SkylineGTRFreak current HMMWV? If that were possible, we could retain the HD textures from the high poly HMMWV, while reducing the poly count. Also, the low poly interior might make a good LOD. And if possible, some high quality parts could be taken from the high poly HMMWV (like the wheels) and put on a lower poly model without increasing poly count too much. Just an idea... EDIT: Just read @SkylineGTRFreak comment. Basically the same thing I just said.



  • @nathanjamesddg151 that's why he said. needs time. because its a lot of work. and needs alot of time. than normal usual, rigging.
