Hello does anyone know how to disable stealth kills on melee?

Hit Ctrl+F3 in OpenIV & search your 'mods folder only' for 'stealth_kills.meta'

Default location is here:

...\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\common.rpf\data\action\stealth_kills.meta

but use Ctrl+F3 search as the file could potentially exist here also (if it's been manually moved/installed there by a mod/.oiv etc)

...\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\action\stealth_kills.meta

If it exists in 'update.rpf', edit it there instead, as in that case it would be the one loaded by the game. Otherwise, just edit the one in 'common.rpf'.

Edit 'stealth_kills.meta' to look like this:

<CStealthKillTestContainer>
  <aStealthKillTests/>
</CStealthKillTestContainer>

That^ should disable the stealth kill animation/s from playing & disable the insta-kill from it/them. Your character will play a normal melee attack with normal (non-insta-kill) damage instead.
