I checked and I have 4.6.1 installed so it must be the second option.

@cuupcakes Suggest you use your own made dlcpack for adding props. I think @JohnFromGWN had a tutorial on how to make one in his blog.

I think his tut was for peds but the dlcpack format is pretty much the same except the ytyp file instead of peds.meta, which you can use https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/mmytyptool to create.

One of the first things I did as a complete GTA5 noob was to create my own customized prop using addonprops.

Haven't used it in years, but as expected it still works perfectly.

This problem isn't with GTA5, it's with Windows, so can't be fixed remotely without a complete understanding of hardware and software being used.

Error points to .net framework so I would start with an update even if you've done a version check.

However @MissySnowie has a solution for you that's still supported.

i have no idea about this stuff and i just want to use the custom props for my menyoo pictures

@cuupcakes What do you mean by custom props? You made them yourself or you downloaded them.

@cuupcakes The methods to create addon stuff by Meth0d's are not fully complete, many things are missing in the exe.

Also check when the mod updated last... Hate to break it down to you, but a lot has change since 2016

@MissySnowie I'm on a German server where everything is explained how to insert props into the single player Menyoo so I have no idea about it and with all the others it just doesn't work for me what can I use as an alternative?

@cuupcakes Well if you deleted the dlcpack itself or overwrite it with another dlcpack of the same name, they are gone if you don't have their backup

So many people don't bother to create a proper dlcpack and keep using the same one made by one person and they don't even bother changing the name, causing people to overwrite their old dlcpacks...

That's why I made my own dlcpack for animations and props with different names.

@cuupcakes Download the props dlcpack from my discord.

Put the props you wish first inside where my props are located.

Then take the ytyp file from the mod, and load it to https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/mmytyptool mod.

There you can Import the props you wish by selecting them. Once they are imported to mmytyptool , simply save the ytyp file and place it to the location inside the dlcpack.

This is how you manually and properly add addon props to game. If you wish to continue using Addon Props mod though, I can't help with that as I don't know the cause. You said error is about framework version but you also checked and your version is correct so I don't know what might be the problem.

It's easier to do it in my way once you get used to it.

Try updating your dot netframework to the latest version. Regardless of what the error message says it's good practice to update and it might fix your error.

Then I'm sorry, I can't help you further. Unless you have a permissions issue stopping the write of files, I can't reproduce your error.

Try another folder with read write permissions or try running as administrator. The rebuild needs to write to disk.

If not, use the @MissySnowie process.

Actually you could also try to add the prop with json. But MOVE the addon props folder and exe to a folder that is writable.

I'm doing this from memory, but it should look like this:
