[self editing] an issue of dispatch. (POLICE RIOT, FIB SUV, CRUSADER & BARRACKS)



  • I've been trying to solve a issue for quite some time now, but it's not easy.

    The files I edited are as follows.

    • dispatch.meta
    • ped.ymf (peds category change: COP → SWAT)
    • vehicles.meta (Modifying… → Block_Scenario Flags Remove.)

    I don't know how to get the NOOSE on the Police Riot and the FIB&IAA on the FIB SUV to be dispatched by eight people, including the side. The same goes for Barracks.

    I wonder if I have to fix the vehiclelayouts.meta now…

    Maybe combat_tweaks.asi (although it's ~3 yrs old now & didn't work completely for me when I tested it), but *maybe something similar exists etc. A script is pretty much your only solution if you want more than 4 peds to spawn on a single vehicle.

    As mentioned, the max people you can in a single vehicle dispatch spawn is 4 peds & that is only if you rename the vehicle to & replace the 'fbi'. You can read more about that here.

    I deleted the FLAG_BLOCK_FROM_ATTRACTOR_SCENARIO flag in advance and added the FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE flag, but it didn't work.



  • @KimMinSu1029 You can assign any vehicle to any dispatch type as long as Land and Air categories are correct. It might require assinging the correct drivers too though.

    • Also, maybe test vanilla files in their place temporarily (make backups first obvs), if you've made any edits to any 'Riot' data in them etc.

    GTA_Combat_Tweaks/'combat_tweaks.asi':

    • Also, I do still have the previously mentioned combat_tweaks.asi installed. Some parts of it do work for me, so I kept it & maybe it has magically all started working since I tested it last, years ago :thinking:. That's likely why I have 4 peds spawning. ie the 'FourManSwatCars = 1' setting is now working for me :thumbsup: (Note: 'FourManSwatCars = 1' doesn't apply to peds hanging on the sides/runnerboards of the vehicle, just peds inside vehicle)
    • Unlikely to fix your issue on it's own, but test out GTA_Combat_Tweaks if you're interested in 4 peds spawning/ some new dispatch/other functionality etc (see options in 'combat_tweaks.ini' below).

    My 'combat_tweaks.ini' is set up like this:

    Dispatch 'Ghost' Fix 1.1.0.0:

    • Additionally, I have Dispatch 'Ghost' Fix 1.1.0.0 installed also (you only really need that to fix ghost/driverless dispatch vehicles/no ped spawn with dispatch vehicles due to 'dispatch.meta' having too many models (especially peds) in it. Usually, you would have noticed the driverless dispatch vehicles if that was the issue, but try it out maybe etc).

    I'm so sorry for the delay in coment..

    Ah.. The file was uploaded in a hurry, so the code was organized incorrectly.

    I have no choice but to run it on the next file, but I attached a code that, and I think is ideal, although it doesn't work with what I'm currently using.

    Is the method the same as before in this case..?
