Is it possible to download mods if you don't have an online account?
-
@Damnbrady All of these mods are for offline play only, so yes, you can download the mods without an online account.
However, I would just offer a word of caution... as far as I know, if you have a legal version of GTAV, you also must have an online account as well.
-
@LeeC2202 Oh ok. So you're saying if I have a legal gta5 game I must have an online account in order to download these mods.
-
@Damnbrady No, it was more a case of having a legal GTAV game and an online account go together, you can't have one without the other... as far as I know... but I could be wrong.
I didn't want to make any presumptions, it was just a word of caution in case you had a version that didn't need an online account, because of it being a version that isn't allowed to be discussed on the forums. I.e. one of the Reloaded versions.
So just to clarify, yes, you can download these mods without an online account. Sorry for any confusion.

@LeeC2202 Thanks for the help! But one more question if you don't mind. Do you know how to download these mods?
-
@Damnbrady If you mean the ones off this site, if you go to any of the mods on the main page, click the green download button and that will usually download a .rar/.zip or .7z file to your machine. You will need something like WinRar or 7zip to open them.
If you've never installed mods before, I would recommend a quick look through this thread: https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/1451/tutorial-a-few-things-you-should-learn-to-do-properly-when-installing-mods
That will take you through the essentials you will need.
If you have any other questions, ask away...

@LeeC2202 I actually tried that link and when I download the OpenIV. Symbols and letters popped up but no links. It didn't work and I don't know why

@Damnbrady Can you try downloading the OpenIV setup file from here instead? https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv
