is there a way for Add-on sound ?
-
is there anyway, i can include a add-on sound file along with my vehicle mods? Thank you in advance for letting me know.
-
@FoxtrotDelta First, what is the sound? Second, if it is one sound, I think maybe you can add it in via script, though I'm not sure.
-
@nathanjamesddg151 nope., its a whole punch. challanger engine , movement. collisons. engine off. bold noises. chains etc.
-
@FoxtrotDelta So a whole new sound effect package. Hmm...
-
@nathanjamesddg151 yea.
-
@nathanjamesddg151 i can make the package already. i just don't know how to create a hash for it. or how to enable it, or how to tell my vehicle use this perticular sound and not default rhino sound.
simply put, i want to know how to make a audio hash tag for it to work. or may be another way around.
-
@FoxtrotDelta Maybe a script? Doesn't the wiper script have a sound effect that is scripted? Are all the audio packages put in the same place in gta?
-
@nathanjamesddg151 i usually avoid Scripts. as i have no knowledge of writing them at the moment. except for spimple spawns. etc. will see in time,
-
@FoxtrotDelta The hash gets generated automatically by the game. You should look for the original rhino sound file in the game files and see how it gets added and enabled. I'll also do some research later.

Tried to do this for the A-10A Gau-8 avenger gun, but I was either too dumb and din't figure it out properly or it simply doesn't work natively (yet)
-
@SkylineGTRFreak brrrrrt!
-
-
@Oskar Use the brrrrt Luke. (Paraphrasing Star Wars )
-
Sounds like a bald eagle farting.

i guess, i'll try one more time, or else its a mod for someother time.
