Problem with the latest version of ScriptHook V (Game crashes)

  • Hello , i have a problem with Scripthook V . I have installed the latest version of Scripthook V (with asiloader) but my game crashes during the loading time. I don't know if this problem comes from GTA V update or from the installation.
    Thank you.

  • @Calligan What happens if you remove ScriptHookV, does your game load or crash?

  • @LeeC2202 When i delete Scripthook, the game works.

  • @Calligan Are there any errors shown in your ScriptHookV.log when you have it installed?

Just one other thing, have you tested with ScriptHookV installed and no mods of any kind... so basically ScriptHookV is there but loading nothing?

  • Here is my Log file :

The game always crashes when i remove all mods
i have updated the "update.rtf" too

  • @Calligan You've still got two mods being loaded there, remove Enhanced Native Trainer and OpenInteriors as well. You have to test this with no mods installed at all, not just without the ones in your mods folder.

  • @LeeC2202

So, I removed the two mods I had forgotten, but the game still crashes during loading screen.

  • @Calligan I'm struggling to think of what might be causing this then... I'm going to be offline for a few hours now but will have a think while I am away.

  • @LeeC2202 Thank you so much

  • @Calligan I was answering a similar question with another user and then someone posted something I had forgotten about. I will quote what they posted on the other question:

"did you install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (x64) and
    Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2"

I had never even thought of that because as a script modder and software developer in general, those are installed on my machine by default, so it might be worth checking those are definitely installed on your machine.

  • @LeeC2202 Yep , I have Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2012 and the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework .

  • @Calligan Can you just confirm that? You said 2012, I said 2013... which one do you have? I just want to be sure we're not getting mixed up here.

  • @LeeC2202 I confirm, i have 2012 version and for Microsoft .NET Framework, it's the 4.6 version.

  • @LeeC2202 ,I installed version 2013 and my game always crashes sadly. i need to remake my Mods folder maybe ?

  • @Calligan The thing is, you said that if you don't use any mods, it still crashes, so I'm not sure if that will help. If you rename your mods folder to something different (so that it doesn't load anything from in there), what happens... does it still crash?

Sorry for all the questions but it's tricky to try and diagnose from a distance.

  • @LeeC2202 Now , when i remove my "mods" folder ; the game works... so problem with my folder surely.

  • @Calligan Seems that way, that's why I said right at the start, what happens if you remove all of your mods.

You have to eliminate everything other than the single piece you think that might be causing the problem when you're testing.

  • @LeeC2202 I will reinstall all mods and see if there is one that crashes the game. Sorry for disturbing you for so long time. I still struggle with mods installations :/

  • @Calligan It's not a problem, I'm sat here writing code on one screen with this site on my second screen purely so I can help people. Post back in the thread how you get on.

  • @LeeC2202 No problem.

  • @LeeC2202 So i found the solution , it's a problem with a DLC Limit applied in GTA V ( i have only 17 Add-on) , but i have installed the Biker DLC gameconfig Support for Melee AI & MP Maps and my game works with all of my mods.

  • @Calligan If you want to expand your add-on vehicles list to like, 100 or more, you should use this gameconfig:
    https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars
Just a tip. Do what you think is the best. :)

  • @Akila_Reigns i go check that thank you !
