[SOLVED] Scripts folder not working
-
For some reason, I turned my game on today and pretty much everything in my scripts folder doesn't work? If someone knows what's wrong, I'd appreciate the response. Thanks.

@Zoey You have to provide more information than "it doesn't work" for us to help.
We need to know:
- What game version you are running
- What version of ScriptHookV you have installed (should be 877)
- What version of ScriptHookVDotNet you have installed (should be 2.9.3)
- Whether there are any errors in either the ScriptHookV.log or the ScriptHookVDotNet-2016-XX-XX.log files.
-
I have all of that and game version, I'm fully updated. it's only the scripts folder that's not working.
All of the other mods such as simple trainer, or the ones that's in the main directory works perfectly fine.
-
@Zoey The mods in the main folder don't use ScriptHookVDotNet though, they only use ScriptHookV. The scripts folder is only for ScriptHookVDotNet.
What does your ScriptHookVDotNet-2016-XX-XX.log say?
-
for some reason, I do not have one
-
@Zoey That means that ScriptHookVDotNet is not running, which is why your scripts don't work. What about your ScripthookV.log log file?
-
that's not in the folder either. idk how that happened.
-
@Zoey I would advise reinstalling both ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet, it sounds like something has gone missing.
-
ill do that now
-
still no luck :l
-
@Zoey You put back these files: dinput8.dll, ScriptHookV.dll and ScriptHookVDotNet.asi?
-
ASI: Loading "E:\ScriptHookVDotNet.asi"
"ScriptHookVDotNet.asi" failed to loadthat's whats in my log file. and yes
-
@Zoey Why is it saying this? "E:\ScriptHookVDotNet.asi" That file should be in your main GTAV folder.
-
that's where my game is lol like directly on my E drive.
-
@Zoey Huh? I take it you have nothing else on your E: Drive?
-
correct. but it was doing this before I reinstalled it to my E drive. It was on my main drive as any other.
-
@Zoey Okay, I'm going to get a screenshot of my install folder, showing all the files that should be there. Compare that with what you have... it will just take me a couple of mins...
-
ok. I'm going to hop in the shower in the meantime
-
This is my folder: Ignore that little arrow on my scripts folder, it's because of how I have that folder setup that causes that, that arrow wouldn't normally be there.
Edit: If you don't get an instant reply, it's because I am offline for a few hours... I won't abandon helping you, so don't be concerned if you hear nothing for a while.

this is mine.
