Maybe just damage the engine (smoke effects, etc.), but when it's a vehicle or too many npcs, it could break it
...a compromise between realism and fun

Man he's really the hero,one of the only cases that suuccessfully landed a passenger plane on water,the other ones I knew are a soviet Tu-124 landed in Neva river,and a Japanese airine DC-8 landed in San Francesco Bay (this one is actually fucked up by the pilot,they mistakenly landed in the water than on the runway XD)

Well there was a heavy fog with visibility of 3/4 of a mile and the pilots have few experience on attempted an ILS approach with the DC-8,once they came out of the cloud,they fucked up XD

@CamxxCore Have you looked at the decompiled native scripts to see what they're doing in that particular mission where the effect happens? You should be able to find the ptfx they're using for the blood spray, and how they're doing the effect. Might give some ideas on how to structure the mod.

@PNWParksFan Yeah the information in the decompiled scripts has been helpful. Turns out r* uses a synchronized scene to sync up the peds position with the jet engine. Luckily those animations can be called explicitly, so it will just be a matter of checking within a radius, and doing some minor lerping of the peds position to sync up the animation properly.

@CamxxCore @CamxxCore @TheSigui since you're making a plane related script....can u try to make the plane stronger in the script?so it's easier to experience flying without one wing or landing without landing gears out other than exploding at the impact XD,this way we might be able to recreate the Dead Rising 3 scene where the jet crash landed on a highway and the engine is still running sucking people (zombies) in

@TheSigui I'm making the point that planes are weak. You don't hit a plane with a hammer and send it flying. And I wasn't even using a script mod.

@nathanjamesddg151 sorry for the misunderstanding, i was answering to @Elope about this. You're right, planes are stupidly weak... but should we include a fix for the durabillity and health problems in a script named "jet blast" ?
Or maybe we can make it more large and call it "Plane improvement script"
