Your Opinion

Hey folks,
)
I made a weapon (Pistol) sound for GTA V.
I did it for myself, but I thought it would be worth publishing it if anyone has interest. :D
Unfortunately I don't know from what reallife weapon that sound comes from.
NOTE: I hope I'm posting in the right section, if not, I'm really sorry!
So what is your opinion?
Here's a video showing it (It laggs a bit, due to my bad PC):

@NeulandInternet did you, make the sound as replace? or is there a way for add on sound?
-
@FoxtrotDelta It is a replace. I don't know how to add sounds.
What do you think of that weapon sound?
-
@NeulandInternet the sound is softer for the ears., sadly i am no expert in pistol sounds . it does seem different.
-
@FoxtrotDelta Would you like to have it? If there is more interest I'll also publish it on this site.
-
@NeulandInternet i encourage any kind of modding. since you put alot of effort making it why not publish it? & i seldom use Pistols. im more into Vehicle Weapons.
-
@FoxtrotDelta Thank you! It wasn't that much of an effort, but I think I'll publish it on this site today
-
@NeulandInternet It sounds like a small caliber pistol (maybe a .22?) fired indoors. I agree with @FoxtrotDelta, you should definitely share it with the community.
-
@kaddigart Thank you so much, Kaddigart! But It was fired outside. :D
It is also from a weapon the german police uses.
-
@NeulandInternet That's cool that you recorded your own weapon. I could record a few next time I go to the range...
What did you record with?
-
@kaddigart Oh god, sorry! I didn't record it, that's a misunderstanding!
It was taken from a video! :'D
-
@NeulandInternet Oh ok. Even still, I like the idea of having more realistic and unique weapon sounds in the game. If I come up with some would you like to add them to your mod?
-
@kaddigart That would be very cool!
But then I'll need information which sounds you want your sounds to replace.
-
@NeulandInternet Of course. I want to record my own sounds for the Heavy Revolver, Pump Shotgun and Heavy Pistol. I have a Colt Trooper III .357, a Remington 12 Gauge and a Taurus 1911B-1 .45 that I want to use to replace the sounds of the 3 mentioned above.

@kaddigart Ah that sounds super awesome!
That would be great Kaddigart!
