Anyone can help me?
-
Hello! So i tried everything to download cars mods (add on) but it never worked. I followed every instructions nothing worked. I really want some mods but i'm desperate since none of them works.
So i'm writing today because i want to know if someone can help me on teamviewer or any other software to install them (i would really really appreciate it). But if that is not possible, can you tell me if it fails because i do not have certain softwares to make them work or it's just because of me? Thx!

Have you read the tutorial?
-
@Richie01 yes i did. Nothing works.. It never works with me
-
Anyone?

@Fourmi_Killer If something never works with you, then you are doing something wrong. But because you haven't told us what you do, we can't know what you are doing wrong.
So tell us exactly how you try to install them and then we can tell you where you are going wrong. Tell us which version of the game you are using, so we know where the files are going to be going. Tell us if you are using a mods folder or not. Tell us if you have all the required software or not... all the software you need is listed in that tutorial page, do you have it all installed properly?
-
Yes i have everything installed in the tutorial, yes i have installed in mods folder. For every add on i modify dlclist and the ''extra'' thing and when needed, update folder and gameconfig.
-
@Fourmi_Killer The thing is, you might have it all installed but is it all installed correctly?
Addons are simple to install, probably one of the easiest things to install other than script mods. If your addons are not working, then there has to be some kind of error in your setup.
So here's what I want you to do first... go into your dlcpacks folder and move everything apart from one addon car out of that folder temporarily. Then go into OpenIV and go to that addon folder and post a screenshot of that folder showing in OpenIV, like this:
It doesn't need to be the same car as I have used, I just want to see that folder structure.

-
@Fourmi_Killer I suggest you compare those two pictures again, the error is clearly obvious... in fact, I'll make it easy for you. Do these really look the same to you?
-
Nope, but I don't know how to make it like yours.
-
@Fourmi_Killer Your path is mods\update\x64\ data \dlcpacks, which is wrong.
The correct path is mods\update\x64\dlcpacks.
-
@Akila_Reigns The path with the ''data'' folder is not selected, it was just one of the 2 folders possible to choose from. I went from x64 to dlcpacks
-
@Fourmi_Killer Your x64 folder is outside the update folder, it needs to be inside it.
-
@LeeC2202 Or it's inside the normal x64 folder, which contains error codes and audio files. But I guess not, because there's no audio folder.
-
@LeeC2202 @Akila_Reigns http://hpics.li/b85ccf5 So now i have this. I load storymode but the game always do ''GTA V has stopped working''. I tried a gameconfig mod but with that, it does a memory error.
-
@Fourmi_Killer The problem is, if that folder was wrong, we have no idea what else in your setup is wrong. We can't be sure if you've put the gameconfig in the correct place or if you've edited the dlclist.xml file correctly and put that in the right place.
I have to go offline now for a few hours but I think you should have a read through the instructions in this thread https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/1451/tutorial-grand-theft-auto-v-modding-a-few-things-you-should-know and make sure that everything is configured absolutely correctly.
-
@LeeC2202 I followed exactly these instructions + a youtube video
-
@Fourmi_Killer And use this gameconfig.xml
https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars
-
@LeeC2202 @Akila_Reigns http://hpics.li/16dc3cd This is the path i use for dlclist so i don't think it's wrong
-
@Fourmi_Killer I never said it's wrong, I said to use the gameconfig I recommended.
-
@Akila_Reigns Thx a lot man! It was THE gameconfig to fix my problem! Now i can spawn my cars! Again, thx a lot!

@Fourmi_Killer NP.
