Installing Modded Cars PC help!

Hello, so I downloaded a car and put the files into the gta V folder but i cant spawn the car ? what did i do wrong?

when i install open iv and select installed folder of gta 5 it cant find the gta5.exe

@BeestlyMotivationz Are you using the Steam or Retail version of the game?

@BeestlyMotivationz So you're browsing to the folder that is something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V and it isn't finding the GTAV.exe in there?

@BeestlyMotivationz If you can't get OpenIV configured, you're not going to be able to do anything with addon cars but I can't think of any way to can get past that initial configuration. I have seen another person with the same problem but they didn't post back if they solved it or not, so I have no idea what they did.

I don't even know if a screenshot of the installer at that step would show anything that will help. You might have to ask the question on the OpenIV mod page here https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv and see if anyone can help you get past that problem.

@BeestlyMotivationz Now you need to carry on reading the info in the link I posted earlier (in my 2nd comment). That will tell you everything you need to know about getting mods installed in your game.

hey got everything to work , not sure yet how to spawn cars people make but i was hitting the gta IV button on open iv instead of GTA V lol....

@BeestlyMotivationz You have to use a trainer to spawn vehicles.

Use this one, it's very stable, it gets the job done, and is fairly easy to use.
