If we want a functional HUD, we need to draw the values, like the jets speed for example. The problem is that afaik, we cant draw the text with this cool font which is used here. So we need to to use a sprite based font, which basically means, that we have a huge image which contains all the characters we want to draw. The rest is definitely feasible from technical point of view. The main task will be, to make the HUD fit to all screen ratios.

Well I thought of something else that should be looked into. Debris properly falling at a realistic weight and said destroyed aircraft remains exploding when hitting the ground. I'd prefer to see the carcass of an F-16 exploding into nothing but scrap metal when it finally hits the floor.

@Golden_Darknezz that is disappointing the way aircraft break up, both on the ground and in the air.

@nathanjamesddg151 i'll update my F-16F to break apart into even smaller pieces. and other aircraft too. but not to small pieces as it would be unrealistic??

@FoxtrotDelta I think a script might be in order for making debris explode ace combat style. In 6 if you stayed long enough around destroyed aircraft they suddenly just explode for a second time. Leaving nothing. I think that would be much more satisfying than seeing what we see now.

@Golden_Darknezz im afraid a script might not do it as well., as the model itself. i mean if we impliment this in the model itself. there is no need for the script.

@FoxtrotDelta Well there are plenty of other jet models that mod users use that aren't of your quality and wouldn't have it's spectacular effects. So I thought a script that is universal including all models would be nice idk.

This script can shift player to passenger seat, auto spawn a pilot to hover, player can use the gattling gun on heli, then shift back to driver... just push "L" button.
@SkylineGTRFreak I want this on the back of the MV-22B so badly!!!!!
Would be awesome if could be applied to the C-130 attack version, when spawn auto driver, it would go in same altitude circular orbit, shift player to gun operation center with targeting view.

@DarthPungz yeah an AC-130 script that isn't buggy or broken would be nice. Julio could probably remake pretty well seeing how he did it for GTA IV.

I did a B-1B literal fly around the map to test the new Sonic Effects script. I chose the B-1B because it is one of favorites BUT I always felt it was way too slow. This script speeds it up. For some unknown reason I have had problems with afterburners with most planes lately... IDK.
It would be nice if there was a sonic BOOM when the jet passses the camera.... I guess this would have to be added in the editor otherwise it would be booming all the time... perhaps you can make a key that we can hit that makes a sonic boom sound on demand? @TheSigui @Kryo4lex See the flyby at 1 minute in... it is sort of sad with no BOOM!

@DarthPungz there's no sonic boom sound because R* editor doesn't record external sounds from scripts !/

Hm i don't know if that's already in RDE, but what if, when you steal a figher jet, other fighter jets will try to shoot you down, except if you manage to escape ? That would end in an intense dogfight ! Also, there would be new lines of dialogue for the attacking jet pilots, at wich Trevor, Franklin and Michael could answer agressively using the unused lines of dialogue seen in this mod by @Zippo-Raid
Hm also, i thought about recording my own voice for one of the attacking jet fighters pilots
but what about the others ?

Okay, so @Kryo4lex is currently working on the HUD.
Meanwhile, if you have time, @CamxxCore, @FoxtrotDelta and @SkylineGTRFreak, you can work on the second part, the animated reactor flaps and the missiles that disappear from aircraft.

@TheSigui i have already done disappearing Missiles for all my aircraft. just have not uploaded them here yet. will do in time.

@SkylineGTRFreak Hm... is it impossible ? @FoxtrotDelta by "reactor flaps", i mean the flaps that move around the exhaust of the reactor, since i don't know their exact name.
